We floated a frame in a new built, truss roof house, over the top of the insulation and screwed into place an 18mm tongue & groove floor system. We finished this job off with an extra large custom built hatch and a strong 3 section aluminium loft ladder.

Fitting an Extra Large Bi-Folding Wooden Loft Ladder and Safety Hand Rail in Alcester

This job was to increase the current loft hatch by about 50%. The owner wanted the widest hatch available to get his bulky items up into the loft. We fitted a 70cm/120cm Fakro bi-folding loft ladder. He also wanted us to fit a safety fence and hand rail to help him and his wife get in and out of the loft safely. 

This job was done in a detached 1970's bungalow.

Fitting a Custom Built Wooden Hatch in Bedworth

This family needed a bigger loft hatch installing so they could put all their bits and bobs up in the loft, out of the way, but still have easy and safe access. We were able to build them a custom hatch to suit their needs and install it in a couple of hours, leaving no mess or damage or decorating to be done to their ceiling.
