Raising Joists, Fitting Extra 200mm Insulation, Boarding out Loft.

This time lapse demonstrates how to raise the height of your loft joists and board out your loft in order to add an extra 200mm of insulation. This loft only had 90mm of insulation in between the ceiling joists. It is recommended to top up your insulation level to 290mm. This is so important because it helps to keep the heat in over the winter as well as keeping your house cool over the summer. Most importantly it can help cut down your energy bills which saves you money!
